Medication costs are reduced due to all medications being inventoried and accounted for in CorrecTek's eMar. eMAR reports can be generated to facilitate in-pod medication passes, track administration of high concern drugs (such as anti-psychotics or drugs that need lab follow-ups). In addition, the system can quickly generate reports on a "keep on person" or PRN medications. Formularies can be setup by a provider to ensure specific drugs are prescribed only by authorized providers. Inmate sign off on every medication administered and the signature is captured in the medical chart.
